Hundreds line up to UST to volunteer for PPCRV

Hundreds of people lined up at the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) Command Center on Tuesday, May 10, at the University of Santo Tomas to help encode election results.

This, after multiple social media posts circulated on Tuesday that there was a shortage of PPCRV volunteers.

PPCRV said they now have enough volunteers until May 15. The poll watchdog will operate until May 20.

“Taos puso po ang aming pasasalamat sa ating mga #PPCRVVolunteers. Umaapaw po ang inyong suporta!” PPCRV said in a Facebook post.

Multiple reports said as of Tuesday afternoon, May 10, PPCRV so far encoded over 2,600 election returns for the May 9 polls. – ag
