IATF approves new classification of red, yellow, and green list countries

The Inter‑Agency Task Force (IATF) approved the latest classification of green, yellow, and red countries which will be effective starting Sept. 19 until Sept. 30, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Monday (Sept. 20) in a Malacañang public briefing.

The list of green countries are the following:

Cayman Islands
Chad
China
Comoros
Republic of the Congo
Djibouti
Equatorial Guinea
Falkland Islands (Malvinas)
Gabon
Hong Kong
Hungary
Madagascar
Mali
Federated States of Micronesia
Montserrat
New Caledonia
New Zealand
Niger
Northern Mariana Islands
Palau
Poland
Saba (Special Municipality of the Kingdom of Netherlands)
Saint Pierre and Miquelon
Sierra Leone
Sint Eustatius
Taiwan
Algeria
Bhutan
Cook Islands
Eritrea
Kiribati
Marshall Islands
Nauru
Nicaragua
Niue
North Korea
Saint Helena

The “red list” countries are the following:

Grenada
Papua New Guinea
Serbia
Slovenia

Meanwhile, Roque added that all other countries not listed will fall under the “yellow list.” –bny
