IATF: Children aged 10 to 14 must be with parents when going to malls

Children aged 10 to 14 years old must be accompanied by parents when going to malls in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

This was confirmed by Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) allowed the easing of age-based restriction in MGCQ areas starting February 1.

Cab Sec. Nograles pointed out that the Philippines is the only country that prohibits the youth to go out of their homes amidst the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. 10 year olds have been allowed to go out as the IATF believes they have adequate comprehension to comply with the health protocols. – PTV News
