The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) is scheduled to release the final guidelines on the general community quarantine which will start on May 1 in other areas of the Philippines not under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the IATF-EID is holding a meeting to thoroughly discuss the welfare of every sector. He has assured that he will announce the decisions of the task force in his press briefing on Thursday.

(We trust that Mayor Joy Belmonte will have a fair and speedy investigation. We are implementing the ECQ to pursue the right to live and it can be implemented within the rule of law.)” Sec.
