IATF members to visit various cities and municipalities as ‘big brothers and sisters’

The members of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) will make their rounds in various cities and municipalities of Metro Manila and nearby provinces this week.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, they will visit the areas particularly assigned to them as “Big Brothers and Sisters” of the areas.

National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon has initially gone to the Mayor’s office in Makati City Wednesday while he is expected to go to Pasay City Hall on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Secretary Roque reiterated that they will not interfere with the authority of the local government units (LGUs) rather they will only express support.
