IATF shortens quarantine and isolation period for working Filipinos

By Pearl Gumapos

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has shortened the quarantine and isolation periods of COVID-19-positive individuals so they may immediately return to work, Presidential Adviser for COVID-19 Response Sec. Vince Dizon said on Monday (Jan. 10).

Dizon added that the government must listen to the advice of experts who say that testing for COVID-19 must be risk-based.

He said senior citizens, those with illnesses or comorbidities, and symptoms will be prioritized.

– bny
