Immaculate Conception replicas on sale at Manila Cathedral

MANILA — Starting Saturday, small replicas of the Immaculate Conception image will be on sale at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila.

On its Facebook account, the Manila Cathedral said it came up with the replicas as part of the 60th anniversary celebration of the rebuilding of the church after the war.

It said the image, which measures 15 inches from base to top, comes in a clear acetate box with a card of authentication.

The replica image costs PHP1,300 each.

The first batch of replicas will be on sale on Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. at the Manila Cathedral Souvenir Shop located on the left side of the cathedral.

It added that only 100 pieces will be available. Stocks will be replenished in the coming weeks.

The Immaculate Conception replica was created by DigiScript Philippines, Inc. through 3D scanning and printing, to make sure the images are exact copies. (Ferdinand Patinio/PNA)
