Indoor Cultivation of High-Grade Marijuana leaves in San Juan seized

Combined elements of San Juan City Police Station led by PCOL Jaime O. Santos, District Intelligence Division, EPD led by PCOL Regie Lacsamana and PDEA RONCR Eastern District Office implemented a Search Warrant  issued by Hon. Danilo S. Cruz of RTC branch 152, Pasig City at 4th floor and roof deck of a condominium at Brgy. Batis San Juan City yesterday evening.

Allegedly, a Chinese National identified as Aaron Huang is renting the entire 4th floor and the roof deck of the building from a certain Ming Uy, owner of the condominium.

NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN Guillermo T. Eleazar and the District Director, EPD PBGEN Johnson C. Almazan later arrived at the scene and supervised the investigation being conducted after the search.

RD, NCRPO explained to the members of the media during the interview that the area being used as an indoor cultivation of Marijuana is considered one of the biggest since the one discovered in Marikina City. He also emphasized the inter-operability and close coordination of all participating units that is paramount for an effective law enforcement operation.

PBGEN  Johnson C. Almazan, DD, EPD also said during the interview that the discovery of the marijuana cultivation stemmed from an information given by other tenants of the condominium. Immediately, an application for search warrant was filed to the court and was implemented after it was approved.

The seized items and evidences were processed by the Crime Laboratory Service Team. A case for violation of section 11 and 16, Art 2, RA 9165 will be filed against suspects Aaron Huang and Ming Uy. (PR/Eastern Police District PIO)
