Inflation slowed in August as gasoline and diesel prices dropped, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported.
Inflation settled at 6.3%, slower than July’s 6.4%.
PSA also attributed the drop to slower increase in food prices, such as fish and pork.
