The ceremonial vaccination rollout for the AstraZeneca vaccine in Laoag City kicked off today.

More than 10 senior healthcare workers from referral and district hospitals got the jab with the said vaccines after Ilocos Norte received 462 doses from the national government.

Dr. Ruth Ann Corpuz, Medical Officer III of the Dingras District Hospital confessed that she “did not feel any adverse effects for now.”

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque and COVID-19. Testing Czar Vince Dizon graced the event and witnessed the rollout.

While Sec. Roque has yet to get vaccinated, he admitted that he is willing to do so to help boost public confidence.
