Isolated rain showers over Luzon Wednesday

MANILA — Isolated light rain showers would prevail in Luzon due to the northeast monsoon (amihan) on Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

Meanwhile, a low pressure area, formerly known as “Tomas”, was last observed at 1,335 kilometers east northeast of Basco, Batanes.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

The northern and eastern sections of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds from the northeast with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 23-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao 22-31 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 14-25 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees Celsius, and Metro Davao 25-33 degrees Celsius.
