Isolated rain showers over PH on Monday

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

MANILA — Most parts of the archipelago will experience isolated rain showers, the weather bureau said on Monday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said this weather condition is due to the frontal system affecting northern Luzon, and localized thunderstorms affecting the rest of the country.

Severe thunderstorms might also bring flashfloods, it added.

Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow over extreme northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Light to moderate winds will prevail over the eastern section of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Coastal waters along these areas will be slight to moderate.
