MANILA — Isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the country, the weather bureau said on Saturday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) added that the northeast monsoon will cause cloudy skies with light rains over the Ilocos region, Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands.
The tail-end of a cold front will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm over the Cordillera region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, strong winds will blow over extreme northern Luzon with rough seas.
Moderate to strong winds will blow over the rest of northern Luzon, and the eastern section of central and southern Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Winds will be moderate over the rest of Luzon and the eastern part of the Visayas and Mindanao, where waters will also be moderate.
