Most parts of the country will experience isolated rain showers due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms, the weather bureau said Thursday.

The northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon, however, will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao.

It will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA also warned that severe thunderstorms may result in flash floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
