MANILA –  Isolated rains will prevail over most parts of the country as Filipinos cast their votes in Monday’s mid-term polls.

The frontal system affecting northern Luzon will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Batanes and Cagayan, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Flash floods or landlides are possible due to scattered light to moderate rains over northern Luzon, and during severe thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will prevail over the whole archipelago with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
