ITCZ affecting Palawan, VisMin Tuesday

MANILA — Fair weather is expected on Tuesday as there are no signs of any tropical cyclone which may affect the country.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), however, said an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said Palawan, Bicol Region and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 23-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 25-35; Baguio City 16-24 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 24-33 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 23-33 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 24-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-33 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
