ITCZ, northeast monsoon affecting PH: PAGASA

MANILA — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said rains will prevail in some parts of the country due to the northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.

In its weather bulletin, PAGASA said the regions of Caraga and Davao will experience scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by ITCZ. The regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley will have isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rains. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
