ITCZ to affect large parts of PH

Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with rain showers due to intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday, Nov. 20.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms prevail over Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Aurora, Quezon, Northern Samar and Eastern Samar.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that ITCZ may bring flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Moderate to strong winds heading northeast to east will cause moderate to rough seas over northern Luzon.

The temperate will range from 23.2C to 29.6°C. – gb
