Joint Task Force NCR ng AFP, sasabak sa war on drugs

Sasabak na rin sa war on drugs ang Joint Task Force NCR ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Ito ang inihayag ng bagong-upong hepe ng JTF-NCR na si Brig Gen. Allan Arrojado, matapos ang isinagawang turnover of command ceremonies ng JTF-NCR sa Camp Aguinaldo.

Ayon kay BGen Arrojado, ang magiging pangunahing papel ng JTF-NCR sa war on drugs ay sa intelligence sharing.

Mahusay aniya ang intelligence gathering capability ng militar, at ang anumang impormasyong makuha ng JTF-NCR ay agad nilang ipapasa sa PNP at sa PDEA, na siyang lead agency sa kampanya kontra droga.

Sa ngayon aniya, ay limitado lang ang kanilang partisipasyon sa pakikipag-coordinate sa PNP at sa PDEA.

Pero kung darating aniya ang panahon na kailanganin sila para magkaroon ng mas malaking papel sa war on drugs, handa aniya ang JTF-NCR na gampanan ito. (Leo Sarne/Radyo Pilipinas)
