Jose Calida steps down as COA chief

Lawyer Jose Calida on Tuesday, Oct. 4, stepped down as the chairperson of the Commission on Audit (COA).

Calida’s resignation was confirmed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

Bersamin said they accepted Calida’s resignation and commended him for his love for the country.

The reason for Calida’s resignation was not stated.
