Kalagayan ng pro sports, isyu sa GAB Sports Summit

Isyu sa hinay-hinay na pag-usad ng professional sports sa gitna na pandemic ang usapin na hihimayin at tatalakayin ng mga eksperto sa kalusugan at resource person mula sa iba’t-ibang liga at sports organization sa isasagawang 3rd Professional Sports Summit ng Games and Amusements Board (GAB), isang ahensiya ng pamahalaan na nangangasiwa ng professional sports.

Gaganapin ang summit sa Set. 29 via Zoom.

“Mahigit dalawang taon na po tayong nakikipaglaban sa pandemya at lahat naman po ng sektor maging ang professional sports ay lubhang naapektuhan,” pahayag ni GAB Chairman Abraham ‘Baham’ Mitra.

“Ang COVID-19 ay problema ng buong mundo hindi lang ng Pilipinas, kung kaya’t higit kailanman kailangan natin ang pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan para makaagapay tayong lahat.”

“Libre po ang itong virtual sports summit natin sa ikalawang pagkakataon. Malaking bagay po ito para maunawaan ng lahat, higit lahat ng ating mga atleta, organizers, at sports enthusiast, ang pangangailangan na makapagpatuloy ang ating propesyon na hindi malalabag ang health and safety protocol ng pamahalaan,” dagdag ng dating Palawan governor at congressman.
