‘Karding’ now super typhoon; Polillo Islands under Signal No. 4

Typhoon ‘Karding’ has reached super typhoon status, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

According to its 8:00 a.m weather forecast, Typhoon “Karding” is moving 230 km East of Infanta, Quezon.

Province of Isabela, Polillo Islands, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Isabela will experience moderate to heavy rains until early afternoon of Sunday. 

Light to moderate with heavy rains over mainland Cagayan, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, and the rest of Bicol Region will also occur until early afternoon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Aurora, Rizal, and the northern portion of Quezon including Polillo Islands will experience early afternoon through Monday early morning.

Moderate to heavy with intense rains will prevail in Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Benguet, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Pangasinan, Cavite, Laguna, the central portion of Quezon, and Camarines Norte, while Mindoro Provinces, Marinduque, and the rest of CALABARZON and Bicol Region will experience light to moderate with heavy rains until Monday morning.
