KWF calls for ‘Dangal ng Wikang Filipino 2021’ nominees

The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) is now accepting nominees for “Dangal ng Wikang Filipino 2021.”

The Dangal ng Wikang Filipino honors individuals, organizations, departments, institutions, government agencies, or private sector groups that have made significant contributions in enriching, spreading, and preserving the Filipino language in various industries or disciplines.

Eligible nominees must be aged 40 and above for individuals, while eligible organizations, departments, institutions, government agencies, or private sector groups must be at least five years old.

The nominees must have a collection of works or have played a vital role in disseminating and using the Filipino language in different fields and disciplines. These works must be included in the nomination as evidence.

Nominees must be recommended by individuals or groups outside the KWF. The deadline for the submission of nominations is on June 30, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

The winner of the Dangal ng Wikang Filipino 2021 will receive the award at the “Pammadayaw: Araw ng Gawad” in August 2021.

  1.       KWF nomination form;
  2.       Letter of nomination that states the summarized qualification of the nominees with the signature of the nominator;
  3.       Curriculum vitae of the individual or profile of the organization;
  4.       Proofs of collection of works or contribution to the Filipino language and/or native language.
