Laging Handa celebrates 2nd anniversary

By Pearl Gumapos

The Laging Handa public briefing, hashtagged #LagingHandaPH, celebrated its second anniversary on Wednesday, (Mar. 16).

Laging Handa, serving as a beacon of hope to all Filipino citizens during a time of darkness brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, is a television program by the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

Two years of service to the Filipino people have gone by and Laging Handa remains strong and informative.

The show provides updates on the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines as well as updates on relevant issues arising every day that need clarification and information.

The program has delivered news on hospital happenings, issues found in the transportation sector, providing aid to those in need, as well as focusing on the nationwide vaccination rollout and the well-being of overseas Filipino workers.

Laging Handa was first aired on Mar. 16, 2020. It airs for an hour from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. -rir
