Landbank branches open Saturday following ATM troubles

MANILA — Branches of state-owned Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank) will be open for business from 8:30am to 3:30pm on Saturday (July 21) to service depositors following problems with its Automated Teller Machine (ATM) network that persisted all day Friday.

Landbank branches remained open until 6pm Friday to accommodate clients who were unable to transact business over its ATMs.

In an advisory, the bank said Landbank account holders may deposit and withdraw funds over-the-counter at their respective branch of account. “We apologize for the inconvenience as Landbank ATMs and electronic banking channels are still unavailable,” it said.

“Rest assured that we are exhausting all efforts to address the problem and restore service as soon as possible,” it added. (Landbank PR)
