LGUs sign agreement with AstraZeneca


The local government units (LGUs) of Caloocan City, San Juan City, Valenzuela City, Iloilo City, and Vigan City have signed an agreement with the British Pharmaceutical AstraZeneca for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine supply.

Caloocan City asked for an advance supply of 600,000 doses of the vaccine. San Juan City allotted ₱50 million worth of vaccine for its residents while Valenzuela City inked an agreement for 640,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses. Iloilo City also signed with AstraZeneca for 600,000 vaccine doses while Vigan City asked for 100,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. – PTV News
