MANILA — The northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon will continue to cause light to moderate rains over the area, the weather bureau said Sunday.
Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest bulletin.
The northeast monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region.
The easterlies affecting the rest of the country, meanwhile, will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over Caraga and Davao regions.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Strong winds will blow over the northern and western sections of northern Luzon, where coastal waters will be rough.
Moderate to strong winds will prevail over the eastern section of the country. Coastal waters along this area will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, PAGASA said winds will be light to moderate.
The seas in these areas, meanwhile, will be slight to moderate.
