LIST: Voting guidelines on Election Day

There are a few days left before you cast your votes. Here are some guidelines to remember before stepping in polling precincts.

  • Take note that all polling centers will open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
  • You can also bring your own list of your preferred candidates.
  • Photographing your voting ballot is strictly prohibited.
  • You have to shade the entire oval beside the name of the candidates.
  • Keeping your voting receipt is also strictly prohibited.
  • Asking for another ballot is not allowed, so be extra careful in marking your ballots.
  • You can check and verify your status in the Commission on Elections (Comelec) precinct finder website: https://voterverifier.comelec.gov.ph
  • Lastly, all “illiterate or physically unable” voters can bring a companion in the voting precinct. -KC/gb
