Lorenzana to undergo quarantine

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana will undergo self-quarantine after one of his employees tested positive for COVID-19. Lorenzana said the staff was in the event held in Subic last Friday and was also with them when they went to Jolo where the test result came out. He clarified that the employee was not able to join the program of President Duterte in the province since the former was immediately isolated.

Meanwhile, one personnel of the Philippine Navy also tested positive with the disease. The Navy already advised attendees of the commissioning ceremony of BRP Jose Rizal to undergo quarantine. Chief of the Navy Vice Admiral Giovanni Bacordo is now also under self-quarantine. – Report from Bea Bernardo
