Los Baños, Laguna Councilor Leren Mae Bautista on Monday, June 12, denied rumors of her involvement with basketball player Ricci Rivero.

In an official statement, Bautista said claims of her romantic involvement with Rivero “are entirely false and have no basis in reality.”

“Councilor Leren Mae Bautista has dedicated herself to serving the community of Los Baños with utmost sincerity and integrity,” the statement read.

“Her commitment to public service has been shaped by the support and trust of the people she represents,” it further read.

This, following reports on social media alluding Bautista as the reason of Ricci’s split with actress Andrea Brillantes.

Bautista also clarified that the recent outreach activity in which she participated with Rivero “is not an indication of a romantic relationship between them.”

“The video that went viral, depicting Ricci’s belated celebration with his friends, whom numerous other invited individuals joined, was taken down due to concerns about potential misinterpretation by viewers,” the statement also read.
