Lotto games to resume August 4 for GCQ, MGCQ areas

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will open its Lotto outlets starting August 4 as gaming operations are set to resume in areas placed under GCQ and MGCQ after months of halt in operations.

PCSO will be returning all its games including the five jackpots games Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45, and Lotto 6/42. The jackpot prize for Ultra Lotto 6/58 is at Php 304.8 million and will be given in full to winners

The cost of ticket will be lowered to Php 20.00 from Php 24.00. .

Meanwhile, minimum health standards will be strictly implemented in outlets. A no mask, no bet policy and a two-meter distancing will be followed.

Patrons are encouraged to bring the exact amount of money and bring their own ballpens to minimize contact.

Those under 21 and above 60 years-old will not be allowed in outlets.

Around 7,000 employees of the PCSO will return to work. The PCSO will firmly implement submission of health certificates among its employees, wearing of face shields, and placing of partition and disinfectant in the workplace.

An estimated amount of Php 7 billion charity fund of the PCSO was lost due to the temporary suspension of operations since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. – Report from Cleizl Pardilla
