LPA spotted off Palawan

MANILA — The low pressure area (LPA) spotted off Palawan will bring light to moderate rains over the province and in Central Visayas and Zamboanga Peninsula.

State weather agency Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said the LPA was spotted 90 km. north-northeast of Palawan.

Meanwhile, the LPA spotted off General Santos City has already dissipated.

The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, where the 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings is being held, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Winds in Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong while Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate except for Northern Luzon which will be moderate to rough. (PNA)
