Mahigit ₱400-M tulong sa sektor ng agrikultura nakahanda na — DA

Nakahanda na ang nasa ₱445.1-milyong piso na pondo ng Department of Agriculture (DA) na tulong sa sektor ng agrikultura na tinamaan ng bagyong Odette.

Ito ang inanunsiyo ni DA Secretary William Dar sa kanyang pagbisita sa lalawigan ng Cebu kasama ng Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong Linggo.

Ayon kay Dar, ang malaking pondo dito ay nakalaan para sa lalawigan ng Cebu na nagkakahalaga ng ₱303-milyong piso.

Ang pondo ay maaaring gamitin para makapananim ulit ng palay at mais ang mga magsasaka, pagbili ng iba pang pangangailangan, at upang magamit din bilang quick response fund.

Bukod sa lalawigan ng Cebu, may nakalaan ding pondo para sa lalawigan ng Bohol na nagkakahalaga ng ₱104.8-milyong piso, lalawigan ng Negros Oriental na nasa ₱30-milyong piso, at ang lalawigan ng Siquijor na nasa ₱10-milyong piso. (Radyo Pilipinas)-rir
