Mahigit 1,200 barangay, idineklara nang drug cleared ng PDEA sa Region 9

Aabot na sa 64.6% ng kabuuang mga barangay sa Rehiyon 9 ang idineklarang drug cleared ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) sa ilalim ng Barangay Drug Clearing Program ng pamahalaan.

Sa datos ng PDEA Regional Office IX, mula Hulyo 1, 2016 hanggang Marso nitong taon, nasa 1,230 mga barangay ng kabuuang 1,904 mga barangay sa rehiyon ang idineklara nang drug cleared.

Anim na porsyento naman ng kabuuang bilang ng mga barangay sa Region IX o katumbas ng 115 barangay ang drug free o drug-unaffected.

Ayon sa PDEA-9, nasa 559 mga barangay pa o 29.4% ang hindi pa nadedeklarang drug-cleared sa naturang rehiyon. (Radyo Pilipinas)
