Maintenance worker returns wallet containing P24-K cash in Isabela

CITY OF CAUAYAN, Isabela – A maintenance worker at a mall has been getting praises after returning a wallet that contained P24,000 in cash to its owner on Tuesday (Oct. 26).

The mall worker was Alexander Foronda who was cleaning his area when found the wallet, according to a local radio station.

Foronda immediately turned it over to the security department who were able to trace the owner with the help of the mall’s Customer Relations Services.

“The good deed of Alexander is a reflection of the company’s values,” the owner, who hails from Quirino Province, said.

In a statement, the SM Group of Companies said it commends and continuously encourages its employees to be an example of honesty and integrity. (PNA) – bny
