The city government said vaccine beneficiaries with special needs can request assistance for them to be provided with an ambulance or other service vehicles.

Mayor Abby Binay said they prefer drive-thru vaccination over house-to-house inoculation to prevent the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

“Everytime na pupunta ka sa bahay nila, naka-PPE ka, magpapalit ka, pupunta ka sa kabilang bahay, and then the probability, the chances na madala mo ‘yung COVID,” she elucidated.

Individuals in Makati who want to get vaccinated should register at www.covid19vaccine.safemakati.com to secure a slot and schedule.

Meanwhile, Makati City has already administered around 1,300 initial doses of the Russian-developed Sputnik V vaccine. – Report from Patrick de Jesus/AG-jlo
