Malacañang studies the implementation of a 4-day work week and flexible work arrangement for government employees to prevent the spread of Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-19).
According to Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, the arrangement is still part of the government’s stride in preventing the spread of COVID-19. He said that the proposal can also be implemented in the private sector for continuity of business without risking their employees’ health.
The Civil Service Commission proposed the plan after the suspension of classes in Metro Manila.
