Malacañang urges telcos to prove better service

Malacañang urged the telecommunication companies to prove that their services have gotten better since the government can order their closure if no improvements have been made.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque admitted that he personally experienced no changes in the services of Globe and Smart. He divulged that his cellphone has a hard time making contact causing him to use communication applications such as Viber and WhatsApp.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has initially given the telcos until December to improve their service following his warning to shut them down if they did not comply. – PTV News
