Man arrested for using PH flag as car cover

A man who used the Philippine flag as a car cover was arrested by authorities in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

According to the suspect, his employer only ordered him to cover the vehicle.

He used the flag because he had no idea it was against the law.

The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act in 8491 or Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines. With a report from Catleya Antonio-ag
