MANILA — Skyjet’s flights M8 816/817 (Manila-Basco-Manila) were cancelled on Wednesday due to bad weather in Basco, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

No other airlines reported flight cancellations due to bad weather in Batanes, as of Wednesday noon.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, the northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands.
