Manila-Basco flights cancelled Monday

MANILA — Four flights between Manila and Basco were cancelled Monday morning due to the inclement weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

The cancelled flights were CebGo (DG) 6009/6010, and Skyjet (M8) 816/817 Manila-Basco-Manila.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said rains will be experienced over most parts of Luzon due to the southwest monsoon affecting the island.

Tropical storm “Yagi” (local name “Karding”), meanwhile, was last eyed at 960 kilometers north of extreme northern Luzon, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. (Ma. Cristina Arayata/PNA)
