The Manila Cathedral will be holding an “open house” to the public in celebration of the 125th anniversary of Philippine Independence.

The Cathedral in Intramuros will have an Open House from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will give free guided tours at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, a Pipe Organ mini concert will begin at 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., while a Holy Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. and 12:10 p.m.

“The public will be given free access to many parts of the Cathedral,” it said in a social media post.

The church was closed to the public when a lockdown was imposed in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. — ag
