Maynilad extends bill due date to September 30

The water company, Maynilad, has extended anew the due date for its clients’ water bill payment to September 30.

The new due date covers the water consumption of Maynilad customers since the start of the lockdown in March. The company pointed out that it meant to prevent confusion.

Maynilad has acknowledged that consumers need more time to pay their bills as they slowly rise from the repercussions of the of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

“Higit sa lahat mas mahaba ‘yung panahon na makapag-utay-utay sila gaya ng binanggit natin na pwede kasi silang magbayad ng kahit anong amount na mayroon sila ngayon habang bumabawi sila sa sitwasyon nila (They now have more time to pay in installment as I said before since they can pay any amount while they are trying to recover from their situation),” Maynilad Spokesperson Zmel Grabillo has stated.
