Megaworld opens 17th lifestyle mall

MANILA — Property developer Megaworld Corp. has just inaugurated a PHP2.2-billion lifestyle mall in its Iloilo Business Park township, its first in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.

“We are pioneering the ‘lifestyle mall’ concept in Western Visayas with the opening of Festive Walk Mall,” Kevin Tan, senior vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, said in a disclosure Monday.

The mall offers 90,000 square meters of gross floor area of shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment, highlighted by most state-of-the-art cinemas.

Festive Walk Mall in May won the award for ‘Best Retail Architectural Design’ at the 2018 Philippines Property Awards –the first for any mall in the whole of Western Visayas.

With the opening of Festive Walk Mall on Saturday, Megaworld now has 17 full-scale lifestyle malls around the country.

Among the flagship malls under the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls brand include Uptown Mall in Uptown Bonifacio, Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill, Southwoods Mall in Southwoods City, and Eastwood Mall in Eastwood City. (Leslie Gatpolintan/PNA)
