Members’ data not affected, SSS assures after main office fire

The Social Security System (SSS) assured all its members that all their data records have not been affected after a fire hit its main office building early Sunday morning, Aug. 28.

In a statement, SSS also assured that there will be “no interruption in the delivery of its services” in all its branches and online through My.SSS, SSS Mobile App, and uSSSap Tayo portals.”

“It likewise assures the public that all payments will be accepted and posted accordingly,” SSS added.

“Members with urgent queries and concerns may send their messages to the SSS official email and social media platforms such as the official Facebook page, Twitter, and Viber.”

According to reports, the fire broke out at the SSS main office building along East Avenue in Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City.

It was reportedly raised to first alarm at 2:06 a.m. and was declared under control at 3:35 a.m.

The fire was then fully extinguished at 5:11 a.m.
