Mindoro pummels Cebu in MPBL

MANILA — The Mindoro Tamaraws banked on a strong finish to turn back the Cebu Sharks, 94-73, in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Season at the Pasig Sports Center on Monday night.

The Tamaraws outscored the Sharks, 74-47, in the final three quarters as they prevailed despite their opponent’s hot first quarter.

Rodal Vaygan dropped 30 points along with six rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and one steal for Mindoro.

Mac Baracael added 14 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Rhaffy Octobre put up 18 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one block for Cebu.

Will McAloney added 14 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocks.
