Minor quake jolts parts of Ilocos Norte

LAOAG CITY — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake was felt in some parts of Ilocos Norte province at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, state seismologists said.

With epicenter located at 3 km. southeast of Dumalneg town, the quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 18 km., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Intensity 2 was felt in Pasuquin town in Ilocos Norte’s first district.
