MMDA, magpapatupad ng ‘heat stroke break’ ngayong tag-init

Binigyan ng Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang kanilang mga field personnel ng 30 minutong “heat stroke break” dahil sa tumataas na temperatura ngayong tag-init.

Ayon kay MMDA Chairperson Benhur Abalos, muli nilang ipapatupad ang nasabing break para proteksyunan ang kalusugan ng kanilang mga traffic enforcer at street sweeper na kadalasang nakababad sa sikat ng araw.

Gayunman, nilinaw ni Abalos na hindi dapat sabay-sabay ang break ng kanilang mga kawani para hindi makasagabal sa operasyon ng MMDA. Ang “heat stroke break” ay ipapatupad hanggang katapusan ng Mayo.
