MMDA sets activities for traffic road signs and concrete barriers

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shall conduct the following activities on EDSA and other major thoroughfares in Metro Manila:

ACTIVITIES FOR TRAFFIC ROAD SIGNS AND FACILITIES

FEBRUARY 3, 9:00 pm onwards
Removal of overhead informative signs at MMDA Footbridges and Gantries along C-5 Road
Installations of hazard marker for reflectorized square plates at concrete barriers along EDSA-De Jesus Busway

FEBRUARY 4, 2021, 9 am onwards
Installation of informative traffic road signage at EDSA– Ortigas Ave. and Shaw Blvd. (southbound)
Removal of overhead informative signs at along C-5 Road MMDA Footbridges and Gantries

FEBRUARY 5, 2021
9 am onwards:
Installation of informative and regulatory traffic road signage at EDSA-Boni
Installation of directional and informative traffic road signage at EDSA-Mandaluyong north and southbound
Installation of informative and regulatory traffic road signage at Kamuning-T. Morato intersection

9:00 pm onwards:
Installation of reflectorized steel bollards at EDSA- Aurora Blvd. to Santolan southbound
Installations of hazard marker for reflectorized square plates at concrete barriers at EDSA-Busway Taft Ave. Pasay City

ACTIVITIES INVOLVING CONCRETE BARRIERS

FEBRUARY 4, 2021, 6 am up to 6 am the following day
Loading Area: Beneath Tramo Blvd. flyover NB
Installation Area: EDSA between Heritage U- turn slot to EDSA/ P. Celle U- turn slot NB in Pasay City
Installation of concrete barriers along Marcos highway fronting Salve Regina Hospital and Gil Fernando Ave. U- turn slot in Marikina
Replacement and retrieval of damaged plastic barriers along EDSA.

FEBRUARY 05, 2021 (6 am- 6 am the following day)
Loading Area: Beneath Tramo Blvd. flyover NB
Installation Area: just after EDSA/ P. Celle U- turn slot towards Taft Ave. intersection NB.
Segregation of usable and dilapidated plastic barriers at TEC- RSU EDSA/Quezon base in Quezon City

FEBRUARY 06, 2021 (6 am- 6 am the following day and from 10 pm- 6pm the following day)
Loading Area: Beneath Tramo Blvd. flyover NB Installation Area: just after EDSA/ P. Celle U- turn slot toward Taft Ave. intersection NB.
Retrieval and replacement of damaged plastic barriers along C-5 road from Commonwealth Ave.- Aurora Blvd. intersection.

FEBRUARY 07, 2021 (8 am- 5pm)
Loading Area: Beneath Tramo Blvd. flyover NB
Installation Area: Just after EDSA/ P. Celle U- turn slot towards Taft Ave. intersection NB.

FEBRUARY 08, 2021 (6 am- 6 am the following day)
Loading Area: Beneath Tramo Blvd. flyover NB
Installation Area Just after EDSA/ Tramo Blvd. towards Malibay footbridge NB.
Retrieval and replacement of damaged plastic barriers along C-5 road from Aurora Blvd. — Eastwood area. (NB & SB)

FEBRUARY 09, 2021 (6 am- 6 am the following day)
Loading Area: Beneath Tramo Blvd. flyover NB
Installation Area: Just after EDSA/ Tramo Blvd. towards Malibay footbridge NB.
Retrieval and replacement of damaged plastic barriers along C5 Road from Eastwood area-Ortigas Avenue intersection
