More than 22.6 million students have enrolled for school year 2020-2021.
Based on the Department of Education (DepEd)’s data, 21,184,570 have enrolled in public schools while 1.47 million have enrolled in private schools. A great part of the enrollees have registered in the elementary level.
The number of enrollees is expected to increase since enrollment in several private schools is still ongoing.
